From the very beginning, in Euroresin, there has always existed a research culture.
Internal work together with external studies in collaboration with the University of the Basque Country (UPV), research institutes and technological centres (CDTI), has allowed us to transform new ideas into successful projects.
Internally R&D works are carried out thanks to a highly qualified technical team in our facilities which are equipped with the highest technology. Our laboratory has a surface of 400m2 and it is divided into three different areas: synthesis, analysis and applications.
These are the main tasks we carry out in this area of the laboratory.

In order to achieve this, we have 4 reactors and a team of technical professionals who are exclusively dedicated to this area.

With the aim of securing and certifying the quality of our resins, we work with a wide range of high-tech analysis devices, such as:
Gel permeation chromatography (GPC)
It measures the molecular weight of the resin’s polymer.
Gas Chromatography (GC)
Quantitative and qualitative analysis of the resin, paint and varnish solvents.
Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
It measures the Tg of a product.
It measures the emulsion’s particle size.
It measures the stability of paints, varnishes and emulsions accelerating the ageing process.
It measures the refraction index.
Finally, in this area of the laboratory we carry out different tests following the previously established parameters.
Cyclic corrosion chamber
We study the ageing of our coatings at the toughest environmental conditions.
For developing high technology products at radiation drying.
It is a device used for measuring the hardness of our resins over time.
For our clients’ most demanding coatings.
With it we reach the optimum finish for our clients’ application.
Impact and Folding tests
We study physical-mechanical properties.
It measures resins’ viscosity.
MFFT – Bar
It checks the minimum temperature at which a uniform film can be formed in emulsions.
